In this episode of Oma’s Musings, I’m opening up about something that’s become very clear in my retirement years—I’m a homebody, and I’m not ashamed of it. While others find joy in travel and adventure, I’ve discovered that my peace is rooted in home.#omasmusings, #homebodylife, #retirementliving, #faithfulliving, #simpleliving, #intentionalretirement, #slowliving, #cozyhome, #retirementpeace, #emptynestlifeI talk about how my years as a working mom shaped this part of me, and why I believe God designed me to thrive in the role of homemaker. I also share a recent moment with my husband: he took the RV to a nearby campground, and I stayed home—and it was exactly what we both needed. If you’ve ever felt out of step because your idea of rest doesn’t include a packed suitcase, this one’s for you.
Welcome to Oma’s Musings—a cozy space where life slows down, faith runs deep, and the clutter (both physical and emotional) begins to clear. I’m Kathy—wife, mom, Oma, and now navigating this beautifully messy season of retirement.
