Trying something new takes courage. Letting go when it no longer fits takes wisdom. In this episode, I reflect on my own journey—stepping into new experiences, exploring different paths, and learning that quitting doesn’t mean failure.
I’ve tried leadership, crafting, running, blogging—even different churches. Some things stuck, some didn’t. And that’s okay. God often redirects us in ways we don’t expect, and sometimes, the best thing we can do is trust His guidance.
So if you’ve ever worried about walking away from something, know this: Growth comes in both the starting and the stopping. Trying makes you brave. Learning makes you wiser. And every step—whether forward or back—is part of the journey.
Welcome to Oma’s Musings—a cozy space where life slows down, faith runs deep, and the clutter (both physical and emotional) begins to clear. I’m Kathy—wife, mom, Oma, and now navigating this beautifully messy season of retirement. Whether you're downsizing, caregiving, organizing your home, growing in your faith, or simply craving a little peace, you're in the right place. Around here, we keep things simple, soulful, and real.
