Then Came You has a lot of elements familiar to teen films, though the focus on the protagonists&#8217; friendship with each other works in its favor. Some parts come in uncomfortably high on our pearl clutching scales, but we&#8217;re also glad that, if nothing else, those aspects weren&#8217;t included to be romanticized.
