To send off of our 2022 batch of episodes, the gang discusses the fifth studio album from the lesser known fathers of funk, "The Meters" titled, "Rejuvenation".

While New Orleans funk group wasn't as popular as acts like James Brown or Stevie Wonder, The Meters played a pivotal role in shaping the sound of New Orleans (and funk) in the 1960s and 1970s while inspiring countless musicians that came after them as well as their contemporaries. Some might call them, "the musician's band".

For such an underappreciated gem, Off The Key is here to make the case for this record as a certified CLASSIC!
