I just got back from a trip to Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, where we stayed at the historic Rose Farm. This site, comprised of the farm, the legendary Wheatfield, and Rose Woods, saw some of the fiercest fighting of the battle on July 2nd, 1863. Thousands of men were wounded and died here, and hundreds were buried on the Wheatfield, Rose Farm, and even right outside the Rose House itself. After the battle, the house remained a field hospital for wounded soldiers. Due to all the death and tragedy that happened there, many people believe the area to be haunted by the spirits of the soldiers who lost their lives there. In this episode, I recount some of my own spooky encounters at Gettysburg, including experiences at the Rose Farm, some stories related to me by other visitors, and accounts of paranormal activity people have reported online.
