Dr. Rose Yu is an Associate Professor of Computer Science and Engineering at UC San Diego. Her research focuses on machine learning for large-scale spatiotemporal data, with a strong interest in utilizing artificial intelligence for scientific discovery. She has received numerous honors, including the PECASE, DARPA Young Faculty Award, ECASE Award, NSF CAREER Award, Hellman Fellowship, as well as faculty awards from major tech companies like JP Morgan, Meta, Google, Amazon, and Adobe.
