Pharmacies across the North West are being urged to sign up for the Common Conditions Service.The scheme allows for pharmacists to treat numerous conditions without the need for the patient to enter hospitals or GP care.Pharmacists can now issue prescriptions for the treatment of these conditions under the scheme.President of the Irish Pharmacy Union and Donegal native Tom Murray says it will relieve the pressure on hospitals:

Ocean FM is a multi award winning local radio station that broadcasts to the Northwest of Ireland. The station covers the area of South County Donegal, North County Leitrim and County Sligo.
