A programme designed to help small businesses reduce their carbon footprint and create more sustainable practices within their business is now available in the northwest.




Green for Micro is a free programme available from Local Enterprise Offices in Sligo, Leitrim and Donegal that helps small businesses take the first step towards becoming more sustainable.




The programme gives eligible businesses access to a green consultant who will demonstrate the small changes that can have a big impact on a business - and the planet.

Ocean FM is a multi award winning local radio station that broadcasts to the Northwest of Ireland. The station covers the area of South County Donegal, North County Leitrim and County Sligo.

The current CEO of the station is Niall Delaney and the Broadcasting Commission of Ireland (BCI) lists their target audience as 'being all age, socio-economic and ethnic groups across the community'. The station currently employs 22 full-time and 30 part-time staff.
