The Waage Drill 2 diving accident is a tragic case of deep sea diving gone wrong. When Peter Holmes and Roger Baldwin were saturation diving in the North Sea, something went wrong. China's popular ultramarathon has hundreds of runners from all over the world participate in it. On the fourth Gansu Ultramarathon, a new course was used that left runners frozen on a mountain, and coined the name of China's Death Marathon. The disaster during the Marathon was something no one saw coming, but should have predicted would happen. Veryovkina cave is worlds deepest cave at over 7,000 feet deep. It's only natural that in the exploration of a cave that deep, accidents happened. In 1974, on the mountain Peak Lenin, an all women climbing team froze on a mountain. The eight women were lead by Elvira Statayeva, and she was one of the most climbers in the Soiet Union at the time. Unfortunately, ambition and bad luck, would leave them frozen on the mountain, instead of successfully coming back down. in 2015, six men entered Cascade cave and two would be left behind and trapped by rising water. The men were facing rising water and trapped at the bottom of the cave. In 2014, a team of 5 Finnish divers attempted to dive the entire length of Plura Cave.  Their diving expedition was meant to be a successful first captured on film.  They started at the Plura entrance instead of the usual Stein cave entrance. Disaster struck when thinks started going wrong and those who survived barely made it out alive. This is the Plura Cave diving disaster explained by Tatiana. In 2007, a couple preparing to settle down, families with children, and locals looking to make money entered the Nam Tolu Cave under suspicious weather conditions. Repeated incidents of cave divers, in the same location, that ignored every warning sign and faced disaster. The Blue Hole in New Mexico is a popular swimming and diving location that attracts thousands of divers each year. Both times divers ignored the warnings given to them to not do something, disaster struck. These incidents have given the Blue Hole a certain reputation of beauty and danger for divers who may consider ignoring warnings and breaking rules.
