In Alabama, Secretary of State John Merrill is under fire for advocating for a congressional map that violates the Voting Rights Act of 1965. This case will be heard before the US Supreme Court on October 4. We will have coverage of the talk about that court case.  Merrill v. Milligan is a case scheduled for argument before the Supreme Court of the United States on October 4, 2022, during the court's October 2022-2023 term. It was consolidated with Merrill v. Caster.
