Rounding your lower back is an essential part of most traditional movement practices.  However, it is not necessarily suitable for all populations.  If your Doctor has recommended that you not perform "Sit Up" type motions then please skip this episode.

This is an essential movement pattern for practicing a traditional "Sit Up" exercise.  Please note that you heels must maintain constant contact with  the floor.  You can try moving your heels closer to you or further away to begin the exercise, but they are not allowed to lift away from  the floor - at all.  Not one little bit.  ...If you think I am not speaking to you directly, you are mistaken...
