Born and raised in Brookline, Dave Cavell is a successful lawyer whose career in public service began as a fourth grade public school teacher in the South Bronx neighborhood. He then served as a Presidential Speechwriter for President Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama. Cavell also worked as Deputy Speechwriter for Massachusetts Governor Deval Patrick. Most recently, he served as a Senior Advisor and Assistant Attorney General to Massachusetts Attorney General Maura Healey. Dave is running for Congress in Massachusetts’ Fourth District.
