In our most politically oriented episode yet, I talk to Mike Lefkowitz, who is probably the biggest supporter of Donald Trump that I know. The goal here was to hit on as many political issues as possible and get a perspective from someone who feels that Donald Trump is a better choice for president than Hillary Clinton, which is exceedingly rare in this part of the country. We disagree fairly strongly on who would make a better president, and we disagree on many specific points as well, but this was surprisingly a very thorough and reasonable discussion, at least from my perspective. I’ve been constantly preaching rationality, willingness to listen, and level-headedness in conversation, and I think this is a good example of how all of those things can be done effectively. Perhaps I was too easy on him, but I guess you’ll have to decide for yourself!
