Please keep trauma in my horror and lose the racism. I do not want my villain or hero to be anywhere near that therapist chair. How else are they going to go on that killing rampage, sacrifice that ex-boyfriend who did them wrong or kill their way out of that racist dinner party. The horror genre is built around trauma and that doesn't need to change in black horror because then it's a drama, not a horror. This week we discuss white horror movies, black horror movies, social commentary horror, and much more. Hopefully one day we get the black final girl who wins against the slasher until the sequel or the black slasher angry at her neighbors for no obvious reason, until then happy listening!
