On this episode of Not Rocket Science, I share my frustration with certain job site blog articles that outline what you need to land a job when trying to transition into a technical position. A lot of these blogs sugarcoat the transition and often spend time telling readers to focus on the wrong things. After seeing this over and over again I’ve decided to break down exactly what matters most when transitioning into tech based on my own experience and also break down what may be different about the transition based upon someone’s personality type (because on size never fits all, people ain’t snapbacks son). I provide tips for the entire end-to-end experience for transitioning right now in 2019 without the broad overviews and over-abundance of SEO friendly keyboards to provide some realness when discussing this kind of pursuit, ya dig?!?
