Let's face it, we all do it for the gram, right? With social media more popular than ever, the dopamine rush when racking up those likes is currently in full effect. However,  recently screens of an internal Instagram prototype were leaked on Twitter showing that Instagram is, at least, playing with the idea of hiding likes from public view. On this episode of NRS, we get speculative and jump into the "what if" scenario of what would happen if Instagram did wind up hiding likes from public view as the prototype suggests and how it would impact this current generation of social media users and all of the social media marketing strategies and companies that has spawned from its popularity. We wonder about where all of these IG models and influencers would go now in order to chase that IG clout and whether or not such a bold move would positively impact people's understanding of social media in relation to mental health. I also, dive a little into the process of prototyping and how often features found on internal prototypes ever see the light of day on this brand spankin new episode of NRS!
