From the mid-1970’s to 2019, Birmingham, Alabama has been the home for several professional football teams. From the Americans (World Football League, 1974) to the Iron (Alliance of American Football, 2019), Scott Adamson has seen them all. Growing up in Birmingham and being a passionate sports fan, Scott rooted for Cliff Stoudt (QB, Stallions - USFL), Craig Ogletree (LB, Fire - World League of American Football), Dennis Homan (WR, Vulcans – World Football League) and so many more notable (and not so notable) players and teams over the years. A talented writer, Scott recently wrote a book about his love for the teams (The Home Team: My Bromance with off Brand Football, 2020). Scott and Bernard chatted about Scott’s experiences rooting for these teams and players.
