Content Warning: Political Violence, Death
Marsh Cho is a Corporate soldier, indentured by an employment contract to the Militech Corporation, a faceless gun-for-hire in the largest private army on Earth. Twenty five years after the 4th Corporate War, Militech and Arasaka are still at each other's throats, with the American and Japanese governments unable (or unwilling) to intercede.
When Arasaka attempts to sway legislation in the Free State of North California, their economic rival will stop at nothing to prevent Arasaka's return to the American marketplace. When bribery and threats fail to put an end to Arasaka's schemes, Militech sends Corporal Cho to assassinate an Arasaka-owned NorCal Senator.
When corporations pull the strings of government, and when rival MegaCorps battle for global dominance, people like Marsh either do what their Corpo masters ask, or suffer their wrath.
