She participated in the 2018 games after overcoming a severe knee injury, that almost ended her career. After a promising breakout in 2014, she suffered a torn ACL that forced her to miss nearly two years before returning back to competition in January 2017. She learned to ski at the age of 5, and has loved the sport ever since.</p>
