Alexis Thomas is a mental health advocate and the president of Ricky's Compass, a non-profit whose goal is to #shatterthestigma surrounding mental illness. After losing a very good friend, Ricky Godoy, to suicide, Alexis made it her mission to carry on his legacy. Ricky hoped to lay the foundation for a new understanding and change the narrative around mental health. Now, Alexis vows to continue to change the narrative through Ricky's Compass.
