Brad Garoon & Jake Ziegler go back to 1976 to investigate Orson Welles' curious documentary For for Fake, and Andrei Tarkovsky's ponderous science fiction film Solaris. They talk about the curious structure of F for Fake, Welles' take on art forgery and art ownership in general, and the tumultuous lives of Elmyr de Hory, Clifford Irving, and Howard Hughes. Then they go deep into what makes Tarkovsky's Solaris special, and glance at Steven Soderbergh's 2002 remake of the same name.
