Never Did It: A podcast for folks who like movies but haven't seen them all yet.

This week, we go back almost 100 years to 1924. Brad Garoon starts by recommending Buster Keaton's Sherlock Jr. Brad and Jake talk about Keaton's influence on both action and comedy films over the last century, and how the movie continues to hold up today.

Jake assigns Brad the Thief of Bagdad, a swashbuckling adventure starring Douglas Fairbanks and directed by Raoul Walsh. They marvel at the cutting edge special effects of the day, the sweeping cinematography, the engaging second and third acts, and get a bit of a history lesson about the cast and director.
