“What is up my friends? Matt hall here from the network marketing mastery podcast, and in, today’s episode, I’m super excited to talk to you about how, and teach you how you can recruit people from your company’s corporate office to come and work in the field with you, and your network marketing business.”

“Now this is kind of a joke because this is probably not something you would intentionally do, but I wanted to share the experience with you guys because, this last week my wife and I actually signed up two different people who work for our company, on the corporate side, and one of them is kind of in a leadership position. The other one works in the company call center, but there are people that we’ve interacted with that we’ve gotten to know as we’ve been in the company, and they’ve seen our work, they’ve seen our commitment and so, you know, it’s kinda cool.”

“It’s kind of an honor because you know, these people who work in our company, they get access to and they get to see all of the distributors in the company, and yet they reached out to my wife and I and asked if they could sign up with us. It was a huge honor, and it’s just kind of funny that this happened with two people in the same week. Kind of a coincidence. But, the lesson I want to teach you from this is, not that you’re going to go out and try to recruit people that work for your company, but you want good people on your corporate team so that the company can be strong, and that makes your business that much stronger.”

“But, this happened just as we were going to our company events again, another reason why you just can’t miss your company events, and sometimes you don’t know why or what it’s going to turn into. You know, obviously it’s the motivation, it’s the knowledge that you get and it’s the relationships with other cross-line people and your team, but even corporate relationships, I think sometimes people take for granted these corporate relationships that you can build. And, so, more and more, as we’ve grown in the company, we’ve been spending more time in our company’s corporate office in meetings requesting to sit down with managers of different markets that we’re interested in building, or that we have team members in that we’re interested in supporting, or seeing changes in certain ways.”

“So, as we’ve built relationships with more and more corporate employees, it just opens up all sorts of opportunities. One: for you to have an influence on your network marketing company. So, sometimes people complain and they say, ‘Oh, I don’t like that our company does this, I don’t like that our company does that.’ Well, have you ever given that feedback in a constructive way? I promise you that it’ll be even more heard and accepted if you’re known by the people who you’re giving the feedback too, right? So, building relationships inside of your corporate environment is beneficial for so many different reasons. But, as I learned this last week, one of those is that you just might end up having a couple people join your team.”

“So, just kind of a fun experience I wanted to share with you guys here in this video. And I’ll always be building relationships no matter where you are. Even if you think, man, that person is in another team, there’s no way they’re ever going to come over to my team. You know, sometimes I feel like when people talk about networking, they’re thinking always, ‘what can I get out of this?’ Right? ‘Oh, I’m not going to network with a cross-line person because there’s nothing they can offer me’, ‘They’re not going to be able to sign up under me’ or, ‘I’m not going to support this person that lives in my city’ or, you know, ‘I don’t need to get to know the corporate employees.’ Guys, It is so important as a networker, and, that’s what you are, that you build relationships independent of team, cross line, company. It’s just so, so important. And, that’s really where, over the long term, you’re going to see your life change in significant ways. Okay, so, as you pour into people, as you pour and invest into relationships, you never know what might come from that.”

“Now what’s interesting is one of these people I actually knew, I actually knew personally. The other one I’ve actually never talked to a single time, and the reason they reached out had more to do with they’re seeing our growth in the company. They’re seeing that we’re one of the very fastest growing teams in this multi-billion dollar company, they’re seeing the influence that we’ve had in the company, in the corporate environment as well, and just because we’re top of mind, they decided to reach out to us. So anyway, just kinda fun. Always be networking. As kind of the lesson from this video. Always be building relationships, and then also make sure that you are actively influencing your company, the corporate environment, in a positive direction as much as you possibly can. So, love you guys! Hope you got value from this video, and we’ll talk to you soon! Bye!”
