What’s up Beautiful Nerds?! It's episode 50! Yeah! And in honor of Goku day, we thought we’d compare two of our favorite Dragon Ball movies. The Broly movies: 1993 vs 2018! But before we do let’s cover some news. Tom Cruise & Elon Musk will apparently team up to film in space, Cyberpunk 2077 will feature crazy customization, Fallen Order is the first in a franchise & finally Boba Fett will make his grand return in The Mandalorian Season 2. So like I mentioned up top we will be talking about Dragon Ball, ultimately it was a big coincidence that this was released near Goku Day since we planned this a few days after recording our last episode. Anyways we watch both the original & newer version of the Broly movies to do another comparison style episode. We talked about main characters, a change in setting, animation style, fight sequences & discussing what’s canon now. Although we flat out say that the 2018 version was for sure better, the original one still has its moments. Yooo... the fighting in the newer one was crazy! It was honestly my first time watching Dragon Ball & it’s safe to say that we all had a blast. Let us know which version you like better!
