Courtney was determined to become a RD in high school. However, she did not get accepted into a dietetic internship. This was clearly a blessing in disguise, as she has found a fulfilling career as a DTR in school nutrition, and has been a key factor in the feeding of countless children. Outside of her job she has also took the role to be a voice for DTR's in the academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.
