Navigating Care Giving

Over the past 23 months, our lives have changed dramatically, particular in the workplace. Many of us went from spending five days a week in an office, running from airport to airport, or meeting to meeting, to a completely remote environment juggling both our personal and professional lives from a dining room table. With women, in particular women of color, disproportionately impacted during the pandemic (more than 5mm women have exited the workforce since February 2020), what does a “return to the office” look like for you? What are the range of emotions and feelings about going back to work? Has your company addressed various situations of home-based, on-site or hybrid? Or put in place a timeline or new policies? What questions should you be asking? Is flexibility a concern, or lack of it? What changes can I make in how I manage that will support the diverse needs of my teams? Are we ready? Join the new weekly series “Navigating the Work Compass” by Cate Luzio, Founder and CEO of Luminary and Susan E. Chapman-Hughes, Founder, C-Level Exec, Independent Board Director, and hear how they, along with other leaders, are navigating through uncertainty, planning their return to the office and are working to support flexible policies for women.
