) Luis Garcia Jr. and Daylen Lile teamed up to go deep three times against Braves starter Grant Holmes. Garcia ultimately fell a single short of the cycle and Lile hit two homers in the loss. Garcia is up to 23 homers, but questions remain about his status for the Trade Deadline.

) Jake Irvin returned from the IL and pitched into the 6th inning. Irvin was charged with five runs off of two homers in his first start in over two months.

) Riley Cornelio only needed nine pitches to retire the side in the bottom of the 8th.

) Mitchell Parker underwent season ending surgery to have an internal brace procedure.

) Sorting through different reports regarding Foster Griffin. Will he be traded or extended?

) Should the Nats keep Griffin and then make him a qualifying offer in the off-season? If he were to sign elsewhere as a Free Agent, then they will be offered a compensatory draft pick.
