) CJ Abrams homered for the 14th time this season in the top of the 2nd. His OPS currently sits at .914 and that is the 7th best in the NL.

) James Wood was moved from the OF to DH before the game.

) Cade Cavalli did not have his best outing as he allowed four runs in just five innings of work. Cavalli gave up a pair of homers and only recorded two strikeouts in the loss.

) Riley Cornelio was called back up from AAA and tossed a pair of innings on Sunday. Cornelio issued three walks and gave up a run in the afternoon. Cornelio's only previous Big League experience came in late April when the Nats were at the White Sox.

) Eli Willits is being promoted to High-A Wilmington. Willits was the #1 overall pick last Spring and his OPS this year in Fredericksburg is .918.
