In this episode of Narcissist Apocalypse, Brandon talks with Saturday about her abusive marriage to an unhinged narcissist. Initially, Saturday's husband seemed attentive and charming, but red flags emerged, including a well-crafted story about a domestic violence charge. Over time, Saturday's husband became increasingly erratic and abusive, including physical threats, financial manipulation, and emotional manipulation. Despite her family's support, Saturday struggled to leave due to shame and fear.
It's a story of threats, self defense, stalking, smear campaigns, shame, divorce, and the safety of a step child, addiction, mental health, control, fight or flight, protection orders, court, blame shifting, financial abuse, being held hostage in arguments, trauma, PTSD, guilt, rage, verbal abuse, fake suicides, and panic attacks.
*** CONTENT WARNING - This episode discusses physical abuse, animal abuse, and suicidal ideation.***
