In this interview, #StanleyNelson and #TraciACurry give their thoughts on prison reform and working on their documentary #Attica. The film takes an unwavering look at the Attica prison riot/uprising of 1971, and the devastation that followed. It was harrowing watching this film and seeing the atrocities committed. While some prisoners no doubt deserved to be there, others were wrongly incarcerated. Not to mention the tragedies that happened to the hostages and the police that were not committing crimes but instead trying to help prisoners and hostages. The subsequent cover-up and revelation of that cover-up changed the way many looked at the system. #Atticauprising
