Junko Furuta was a soon-to-be high school graduate with a job lined up and her whole life ahead of her when a group of young gang members put it to an end and subjected her to some of the worst treatment imaginable.

Fair warning: if you feel like you’d possibly be disturbed by this case, you probably will be.
