Rey Rivera, a 32-year-old aspiring screenwriter, went missing on May 16, 2006, and his disappearance quickly garnered attention. However, the circumstances surrounding his death took a mysterious turn.

Approximately a week later, his lifeless body was discovered in an abandoned conference room at Baltimore's renowned Belvedere Hotel. It was a perplexing scene as Rivera had seemingly fallen from the top of the 14-story building, crashing through a lower roof and landing on the floor below.
