Ila Welty was raised in a conservative patriarchal Islamic family, desperately finding a way to escape and be free. In this episode she shares her story of her planned escape from Azerbaijan to Russia to Hong Kong. Today she stands alongside fighting for other women that feel trapped within their own homes.
