I survived what seems like a lifetime of abuse from childhood until the day I was finally able to escape the toxicity and trauma that made up most of my life. I cut all ties with my parents in 2012. In 2020, I publicly told my truth for the first time. As someone just learning who they are in their 40s, join me in this journey of learning, stories, art, sadness, joy, love, triumph, and hopefully some newfound friendships. With 2020 coming to an end and my awareness of self coming into its beginning, why don’t we grow into our true selves together?
