Terry Lovelace has been a lifelong experiencer since early childhood. He completed six years of active duty (1973-1979) in the USAF, serving as a medic and first responder at Whiteman AFB for his entire enlistment.
While on active duty he and a friend Toby were abducted from an Arkansas state park while remote camping in June 1977. They suffered burn injuries from the abduction and harsh scrutiny from the USAF Office of Special Investigation (OSI) afterward.
After his enlistment he completed a bachelor’s degree in psychology and a law degree from Western Michigan. His legal career included private practice in Michigan, and civil service as an assistant attorney general for the US Territory of American Samoa, and later appointed as an assistant attorney general for the State of Vermont where he served until his retirement in 2012.
He waited until retiring from the law to publish Incident at Devils Den, the true story of his 1977 abduction from an Arkansas State Park.
