Celebrating a birthday today, Rod Argent is an English keyboardist, singer, songwriter, and producer best known as the founding member and primary creative force behind the 1960s British Invasion band The Zombies. Inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2019, his distinctive keyboard style and sophisticated songwriting have left an indelible mark on rock and roll history.
