Movie Chumps

Corrye touts the ending as one of the best in cinema history. Luke breaks down why the "Harvey Dent transportation to jail" scene is a piece of filmmaking genius. Plus: the surprise Heath Ledger pulled on everyone, the Maggie Gyllenhaal for Katie Holmes "trade," and the random cameo we totally forgot to mention from Batman Begins!

Corrye and Luke come equipped with a mountain of fun facts on the making of this modern classic. The Chumps explore what makes this such a marvelous origin story, how it differs from the Batman lore in the comics, and what Christopher Nolan specifically did to set his film apart from previous caped crusader movies.

It's not our favorite of the Mad Max series, but it may be the most fun, thanks to the buffet of characters. Luke & Corrye pick their favorites, from Dr. Dealgood (the Thunderdome emcee!), to The Collector and Pig Killer. The Chumps also philosophize WAY TOO MUCH over Master Blaster and the power dynamic in Bartertown. A double-feature! Mank AND Scrooged coming at ya! The Chumps are aflutter about Gary Oldman's sizzling hot portrayal in David Fincher's latest. They're also giddy for Bill Murray's improvisational tour de force in Scrooged.
