-9)  After Babel, God turns "the nations" over to follow other lesser gods.  God turns his attention to a man named Abram.  God is going to start all over with Abram.  His descendants will be God's chosen people.  A people chosen to help bring about salvation and restoration for all of humanity.  Abram helps bring the worship of The One-True God back to the earth.  God calls, Abram listens and obeys the Word of the LORD.
