In this episode, I sit down with Zach Pope to discuss his journey through medical school, including challenges, failure, physician burnout, social injustice, preventative healthcare, self-compassion and so much more.   Zach is a CrossFit coach, co-founder of a non-profit called Cope, co-host of a podcast and a fourth-year medical student at the University of Tennessee in Memphis. He recently matched at UC Davis to pursue his residency in Family Medicine.

We hope to inspire people to pursue a career in medicine despite their background; whether they identify as first generation, low-socioeconomic, underserved, underrepresented, non-traditional, POC, international and/or LGBTQ+.
