Shirley V. Mergler, of Henrico, departed this life Tuesday, May 25, 2021. She was preceded in death by her father and mother, Alfred L. and Marie T. Vunck. Mrs. Mergler leaves to cherish her memories; A loving husband of 70 years, Franklin L. Mergler, Sr.; Three children, Franklin L. Mergler, Jr. (Murile), Robin Rockwell (Dave), and David Mergler, Sr.; Six grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. When Shirley was younger, she was an avid gardener.
