Weather permitting, the Virginia Department of Transportation will close Charles City Road (Route 7723) between Williamsburg Road (Route 60) and Eastport Boulevard in Henrico nightly from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. Sunday, May 23 through Thursday, May 27, to complete work a drainage project. The road will be reopened to traffic by 8 a.m. each day. The following detour will be in place: • Eastbound Charles City Rd. (Rt. 7723) – Take Williamsburg Rd.
