Lorenz Kenney 'Ken' Makoutz, 93, son of Lorenz and Anna (Kenny) Makoutz passed away peacefully on April 8, 2021 at the home of his daughter following 3 months of hospice care. He was born in Evanston, Illinois on January 5, 1928. He grew up in the suburbs of Chicago Ill during the great depression and later recession. He graduated from the University of Illinois with a degree in Mechanical Engineering.
