In this week's episode we are learning from Ivan's journey. Ivan grew up in the Philippines and when he was 10 years old he became an immigrant in the UK. Ivan lived apart from his mother for a few years until the situation was ready for him and his brother to move to the UK and get reunited.  We talk about discrimination, racism, the challenges of learning a new language and what growing up in the Philippines meant to him. Ivan shares the importance of the food, the flavors of your culture, as well as the core values that he learned as a kid.
