In this episode I am joined by a legend of the sport, someone who will go down in history as the 1st ever British Referee in the UFC and the ONLY British Referee to work on Strikeforce. A man who is loved by everyone he meets, Leon Roberts.

Leon takes us through his early days which lead to him walking through the doors of Mark Weir's 'Range Martial Arts Academy', travelling round the world as part of Mark's coaching team, how he got into officiating and also the obstacles that have been thrown at him along the way.

Michael trained in Boxing and Karate in his youth but started his journey in MMA around the turn of the millennium, before moving into officiating in 2011 after realising competing in MMA wasn’t going to be a reality due to injuries and other commitments outside of the sport.
