Drinking increased by almost 20% for women and 10% for men during lockdowns last year, according to The Australian Institute of Health and Welfare.

Grey Area Drinking Coach, Sarah Rusbatch, says many women in lockdown miss being able to ‘download’ with girlfriends in person and drinking is a quick-fix comfort at the end of a stressful day.
