The California National Guard is getting certified to deliver it's CERFP team by military air so they can respond to incidents in Alaska and Hawaii. The cargo must have six inches clearance from the C-17 wall and has load limitations. Transporting the trucks, trailers and people took six trips from California to Wisconsin for Patriot Exercise 2011.
