In this episode, we will be introducing the topic of minority representation and social justice education. We will be looking at and discussing articles and experts from The Wretched Earth by Frantz Fanon, Teaching to Transgress by bell hooks, Coats, Dr. Leigh Patel, and Paulo Friere. The goal of this podcast series is to shed light on minority representation in education to create ways we, as educators, can better equip ourselves to advocate and support our students.
