Sheena and Lauran
We are Lauran and Sheena... Channeling Conscious Communication. We are tapping into the conscious collective. Especially in this evolutionary time of growth and progression, the line often times gets blurred, we might assume everyone understands and knows what we are doing. When we do that, we tend to miscommunicate and misunderstand important concepts. We say, let's just communicate it, rather than have to figure it all out on our own. We are not alone, and we ask, "How do we shed light on this information so that we can understand one another from a place of compassion and love?"
Who we are, and how we came to be, Mindfeelz : Episode 16

She is finishing her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology with the intent to obtain a Master’s in order to become a practicing therapist. Our audience is anyone and everyone. Our goal is to make a safe place for open communication where we can all challenge ourselves to become more aware, educated, connected, and most of all... More Loving!

Mindfeelz invites Artist Ramon Carrasco to sit : Episode 15 Happy LGBT Pride Month
In this episode of Mindfeelz, we celebrate LGBT Pride Month. We have the pleasure of sitting with the Amazing Being Ramon Carrasco. Ramon speaks on activism through art, the translivesmatter movement, and how color has no gender. #LGBTpridemonth #mindfeelz #ramoncarrasco In this transformational episode we are blown away with Ramon’s ability to take us deep into civil matters. He offers us some history in referencing ‘The Stonewall Riots’ that happened in June of 1969. These riots launched the gay rights movement. Ramon touches in on the interesting fact that they went on in this same month as we are having the black lives matter riots of 2020. This episode takes us on a journey exploring the civil rights movements that lead us to our stance for human rights. We have a responsibility to our community of humans to stand up, educate ourselves, and take action. As a whole, it is time to “upgrade our awareness package,” and tear off the layers in order to rise against injustice. Ramon is a Mexican Artist, living in Texas, who believes and practices Activism through Art. He takes responsibility and stands up for the LGBT+ community. He has served in our U.S. Army, he spent a few years teaching fifth grade art, and he has an engineering degree. An absolute Diverse human in every sense of the word. Transcending Shame in our thoughts, lives, and world : Mindfeelz Episode 14
In today’s episode of MindFeelz, we share our ideas about shame and how to release toxic shame from our lives. The voice of shame tells us there is something inherently wrong about who we are and tears down our beliefs about ourselves, causing us to act from places of pain and fear rather than love for self and others. Shame can enter our lives in many different ways, and we experience it both externally and internally. While recognizing the origins of shame and acknowledging how it fuels negative mindsets, addiction, disconnection, and overall toxicity is important, we must work to focus on the antidote in order to renew our shame mindsets and cultivate a deeper love and acceptance for ourselves. Through affirmations, journaling, meditation, and other healing practices, we can break free from the bonds of shame that limit our potential. When we intentionally do the work in ourselves, it becomes easier to transfer this love and acceptance to others and build genuine human connection. #mindfeelz #shame #transcendingshame

Practicing and Understanding Empathy : Mindfeelz Episode 13
In this episode of MindFeelz, we explore empathy and how to practice it in our daily lives. Empathy is defined as the ability to understand someone else’s feelings, but practicing empathy towards others also means developing an awareness that leads to genuine connection. Without awareness and vulnerability, it can be difficult to move past the place of judgment and comparison and into empathetic connection. As we take down our own walls, we increase our capacity to connect with and support others; when we expand this practice on a larger scale, we are creating a more empathetic world. #mindfeelz #empathy #whatisempathy

Taboo Topics : Struggles are Relative, Cheating, Masterbation, and More!
In this episode our viewers wrote in some great topics! Thank you for that, first and foremost! We got to discuss struggles being relative and what that means for our ability to be vulnerable and compassionate for our fellow humans. We spoke about the polarized idea of Eastern vs. Western medicine and how perhaps it isn't quite so polar anymore. Masturbation made its way into our topics and we take a look at how this can be a healthy and positive thing in our lives. We finish off this episode talking about Cheating in the sense that it can be a thing of the past with newer styles of relationships, the want to treat the other more compassionately, communication, and self-realization. Taboo Topics are those topics that don't get enough exposure, but we all wish got discussed more. Especially in this evolutionary time of growth and progression, the line often times gets blurred, and we might assume everyone understands and knows what we are doing. It's this presumption that we all get it, that keeps people quiet and allows us to create our own understanding of things and apply it to the people and systems around. We say, let's just communicate it, rather then have to figure it all out on our own. We aren't alone in this vast universe, and most of the time we are conversing with our fellow humans in relationships, in work environments, in everyday encounters, and more. It would be nice if we could close the gap of miscommunication and make it easier to open up to one another. MindFeelz is about closing that gap and exposing these truths and idosyncrasies so that we can be more comfortable with one another. Taboo Topics takes it a step further and dives deeper into discussions that may feel a little harder to bring to the surface. It also askes... "What makes these topics more difficult to talk about?" And, "How do we shed light on this information so that we can understand one another a from place of compassion and love?" As always, keep the topics coming... If you want us to send you a shout out in the episode, please make sure that you express that in the message. Contact us on any of our social media accounts! We love you!

Forgiveness : Releasing Ourself
Forgiveness is a process that allows us to release our attachments to past, present, and future pain. Whether we are recovering from deep trauma or just simply experiencing an everyday offense that stirs hurt feelings, the act of conscious forgiveness and release can help us heal and grow. Often our pain can teach us a lesson in compassion for ourselves and others, including the ones who may have hurt us. If we challenge ourselves to take a more compassionate look towards the pain of our trespassers that cause their behavior, we can more easily separate ourselves from the behavior and not be burdened with the pain that isn’t serving us. We forgive so we can heal and renew. As with many of these deep concepts, the process of forgiveness can take time, requires compassion, and is part of a greater awareness of becoming whole our on our own behalf. As we forgive ourselves, others, and our ancestors, we begin to pass on the ability to love deeply and allow people to thrive in being.

Boundaries : Maintaining our Truth
This week we are opening the floor to discuss boundaries. The elusive, yet important topic that allows the individual to have presence and identity in this world, and in their relationships. We may often associate the word boundaries with limitations and hard rules. Boundaries come in many forms and can be applied in an emotional, physical, cultural, and even spiritual sense. Poor boundaries exist when we have a difficult time distinguishing ourselves from others. In this framework, we tend to be in the people pleasing, and needing validation sort of realm of things. On the other end of that, having too strict of boundaries can lead to isolation, and inability to create and maintain relationships with the other. Somewhere in the middle, we are given the ability to thrive as individuals, and allow others to thrive as well. As with a lot of the topics we discuss, it is about honor, for both ourselves, and others. In this episode, we explore this topic through a fresh lens, we introduce the idea of boundaries being an extension of self-esteem, love, and respect within ourselves, and in our relationships.

Trust : In both our Relationships and the Universe at large
In this week’s episode, we explore trust and the dual nature of trusting the universe on a larger scale, while learning to apply trust in our individual relationships. Trust comes with releasing control and expecting positive outcomes overall. When we learn to lean into hardships and trust the process, we are able to not only receive this energetic exchange, but also project it outward. It is a communication with both the internal and external world, it is the ultimate in healthy relationship, and it is always saying, “You are Loved, and You are Trusted.”
