November is Adoption Awareness Month.
Are you AWARE that the states get kickback incentives for adoptions through the foster care system?
Are you AWARE that these incentives are based on how adoptable you are? If you are 14 and older you are considered 'harder to place,' and the price tag for your adoption is much higher than younger children.
Are you AWARE that almost $900 million dollars have been awarded to eligible states since these kickbacks have started?
Are you AWARE that some families are claiming the states are legally kidnapping their children through the court system and adopting them out for money? These are closed adoptions so these families may never see their family members again!
Are you AWARE that private adoptions can cost well over $40,000.
Do we care that Americas children have price tags on their heads?
Why are children being trafficked by the government? And by agencies with deep pockets?
Why is it legal for these government and private agencies to make money from the adoption of our children, but it is illegal and called trafficking if a person tries to adopt out their children for money?
The system is broken, and it's time to EDUCATE THE WORLD!
