Today, I have a conversation with Miko Hornilla, who is someone that I have been friends with since 2017, when we did a performance together. He is someone that I admire a lot and helps me through my dance journey. He was the director of Common Ground. We talk about his dance journey, how dance is healing for him. We also talk about the discomfort within silence and how necessary that is, and we get deep about fate and free will.

For each episode this season, I want to raise awareness + donate to activism organizations that contribute to a cause that these speakers are passionate about. This portion is dedicated to the California Alliance for Arts Education (CREATE CA). They advocate for high-quality arts education for all students by providing policy expertise and by mobilizing a statewide network of advocates and allied partners. You can find more about them at artsed411.org
